I just have to laugh… Every time I think I’m convinced that Microsoft might be going in the right direction, they do something unexplainable like this…

I’m a firm believer in a mixed IT environment. This strategy allows companies to make decisions based on their business model, not one that Microsoft alone dictates. Don’t get me wrong, I believe Microsoft has its place and I see Microsoft in about 99.8 percent of all businesses. I’m not a hater… I’m just a little…well confused… Novell makes some of the best technology available, but they are all geek and no chic. (Note: GroupWise 8 on Linux is better and cheaper for organizations that want to house their email in house, but oohh that blue koolaid tasts gooood right). sorry about the hard turn… I’m back…
Microsoft can get away with stuff like this because they focus on the end user experience vs the engineering. As a result, no one will ever complain very loud about Microsoft’s lack of compatibility between two flagship products that rely on each other. No other venders would dare get away with this… aaahhh such is life…
